Dear folks at CENEGA and Blackelement, dear fighters of "Shade",
I would like to have some help on a walkthrough for Shade in English.
I am just playing the German version of Shade and have almost finished the game.
First - it was a wonderful game, quality-graphics, nice puzzles, the game run stable, did not crash at all, and so on.
Once I played the game in German, I simultaneously wrote down a richly pictured walkthrough for it. At the moment I am at level 28, stil two or three levels left till the very end.
Now, my idea is, to translate the German document, which I will publish in Germany at first only, into English and Russian, which languages I speak both more or less well.
So, I would be very glad about help on some vocabulary in English.
I need the names of all the levels, from n#1 till the end, the names of the weapons, and probably something else. When I wrote the German document, my wife Lena, a girlfriend Dana and some friends from the forum here helped me a lot.
So, now I am looking for some English-speaking fellows, who could assist me to translate the basic vocabulary into English (and likely into Russian, too).
Would be glad to hear from the folks at CENEGA and Blackelement, but of other felloews of the forum, too.
I wish the very best to everyone, who enjoyed the game and joined the forum.
Greetings

well, I am at "the machine" at the moment, level 30 (about), have got only this "machine" to do still and the boss-fight in the end. hope to be ready until weekend.
and then I will probably translate everything into both languages, English and Russian, as well.
who is interested in the German document, can always find the latest copy at:
http://www.weging.de/Shade%20Walkthrough.doc
but until i am not ready, I won't spread the walkthrough over the internet yet. the same to the foreign-language-versions. _________________ Olaf Weging

Hey Artie,
I have finished yet last week in German. Published in Germany.
Now I need a kick in the ass from my wife and daughter for the English and Russian versions.
But I read, that somebody wrote in English yet.
Nevertheless.

Dear Artie and Wogi,
once you offered me to be my helping-hands:
First of all, I will place a special thanks to all helping hands in the end of the walkthrough, like I did this in the German version to my wife, a girl-friend Dana and the folks at Blackshade-Forum. This I do regularly to thank everyone, who placed a helping hand on me.
Second:
Now that I am translating the walkthrough, I expereince a problem. I write with a combined german-english-russian keyboard. For writing Russian, I have to change the language-settings of my computer to Russian, so that the "Kyrilliza" is being recognized.
When I type English, I use the German keyboard-layout. If I would the English one, I would have to write an "Y" for a "Z" each time, because there is no place left on the letters for English letters, once the German und Russian ones are on the letters yet.
So, could ayone control on its own English-speaking computer, if the document says English letters, i.e. if the text is to be read in English.
Normally I do not exoerience any problems in writing English text with my computer, and I do not want to redo my whole work again.
Sincerely yours.
