How do I enable hardware accelerated PhysX? There's nothing listed in the options menu.
When I set the PhysX value to 1 in the settings.cfg the game crashes. Was native support removed in a later patch?
My specs:-
Steam version of the game at v1.3.
Nvidia Geforce GTX275 898MB (driver v190.38 WHQL + latest PhysX runtime)
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500
4GB DDR2-1000
Auzen X-Fi Prelude
Asus P5Q Pro
Vista x64 SP2
I realise that Alpha Prime pre-dates PhysX on Nvidia, but I've played other hardware accelerated PhysX-intensive games designed for Aegia PPUs without issue. Such as Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, Warmonger.
Thanks in advance. |

I wonder too. I have a GeForce GTX 280, which supports PhysX. However, Alpha Prime apparently doesn't do anything with it. In the game's console, it says "PhysX SDK not found".
The game might have been made for Ageia PhysX, but nVidia's PhysX SDK should allow pre-nVidia PhysX games to make use of nVidia PhysX.
Given that EvaUnit02 has gone almost twenty days without any reply, I wonder if anyone from Black Element actually reads this forum at all... |

Ageia PhysX support has been removed in latest stage of development.
It's been experimentally used for few extra "eye candy" effects, so nothing
what affects gameplay. _________________ Filip Doksansky,
