Graphic amazingly fast, either in loading maps, either in computing realtime 3D;
after that infinites details well realized, enemies veri well built, grandiose sound fx ,
a game length really notable, very marveling landscapes, and a colossal soundtrack!!
It's really, very sad that you of Cenega house are not thinking anymore about a game sequel...
Shade is absolutely one of the best games that I ever played!! Probably the "father"
doesn't see how much great are the "child"... (and this thing are tipically proper of masterpieces...)
Make the sequel!

Some years passes, and I'm still convinced that this is one of the greatest game.
Above other for the scenarios: absolutely marvellous.
I was hit by the exploitation of the DirectX, the game have maximum performance even with cards not properly good.
I used a Geforce 6600, and it ran very good.

| I agree. This game is a hidden gem for those lucky enough to find it. I wouldn't hesitate one second in purchasing the sequel if it ever were to happen. |

Too bad that the releasers neither publicizes an editor to make some fan level.
At this point, I really doubt that there will be any sequel |

| This is actually a very good idea. Black Element should release DLC content for this game and sell it digitally. Heck they should re-release the original game digitally as well. I bought Alpha Prime through Steam because I liked Shade so much. Why isn't Shade on Steam? I would buy it again on Steam. You could also put this game on OnLive (www.onlive.com), which if you haven't heard about, is a cloud online gaming service. Selling digitally would reduce your distribution, packaging and advertisings cost by a great deal if not completely. I hope the developers consider this. |

Steam you've said?? Was Shade released through Steam?? I didn't know that... But this Steam it's something that sells games though the Internet? I remember to have played a game who was a steam licence: it was Dark Messiah Of Might & Magic.
I think Cenega is over with this game, unfortunately, because of license issues, if I didn't have understood bad.. |

| No it wasn't released through Steam like Alpha Prime. I was saying that I WOULD buy it if was on Steam. It's a shame if they sold the rights to this game. It had a lot of potential for a sequel or even a remake on another platform like Iphone. This game would be perfect for mobile touchscreen since you could simulate sword strikes with finger swipes like Samurai: Way of the Warrior for Iphone. |

| Then get an Ipod Touch, I got mine for $125 on ebay. Cheaper than a DS or PSP and the games are affordable. |

That would be a better idea I wish that it's proved against accidental knocks... |

You can get a warranty and get a case for it. But all I'm saying is that I think this is the only way that Shade can live on.
It is not practical to make a sequel for the PC but I think that this game would thrive on a mobile device, be it Iphone, Android or Windows phone.
Also the developers would not have to worry about license issues since they'd be remaking the game and using a different game engine tailored for that platform. As long as the important things are there: gameplay{albeit modified), story, music, I believe it could really succeed. |

All we can do, at the moment, is keeping alive the forum, and promote the game. |
